Register to Consign |
All consignors must register for the upcoming sale so we know how many people to plan for. We will accept registrations until our space is filled on a first come, first served basis.

Preparing Your Items |
Consignors tag and price all of their own items. We have a standard method for tagging so the sale continues to be an organized, easy-to-shop consignment sale. We offer tagging services if you do not wish to tag your own items.

Donating Items |
If you wish to donate unsold items to charity, please inform us at drop off. All donated items will go to local nonprofit organizations that help families in need. Currently, we are supporting the Chippewa Valley Foster Closet.
When tagging your items, if you know you do not want an unsold item back at pick up or if you plan to donate all of your unsold items, please place a "D" for Donate in the upper left hand corner of the tag. This is very helpful because it allows us to know which unsold items do not have to be resorted by consignor number. Unsold items marked with a "D" in the top left corner of the tag or not picked up will be gratefully accepted by a local charity. All items left at the close of pick up time will be immediately donated, as we need to vacate the building. We can no longer make reminder phone calls and wait past the end of pick up hours. |
Items Accepted |
Items must be current and in excellent, clean, and odor free condition with no signs of wear and no damage such as pilling, tears, holes, missing buttons, dysfunctional zippers, and stains.

Drop Off/Pick Up |
We strive to make the drop off/pick up process as streamlined and efficient as possible. All consignors must pre-register for a drop off spot, you will have a 1 hour window to arrive at Hobbs with your items (for example, if your drop off time is 4-5pm, you do NOT need to arrive at 4pm, you just need to arrive between 4-5pm). Drop off times are Wednesday from 12:15-8pm and Thursday from 8:30-2pm the week of the sale. You may pick up your check and unsold items on the Monday following the sale from 4-6pm. We need to vacate the building immediately following the pick up time, therefore, all remaining items left will be donated.

Item Pricing |
Competitively price your items to sell. What would you pay? Normally 25-30% of retail is a good general figure to go by. Keep in mind that during these economic times retail stores are offering good deals. Our shoppers will be looking for GREAT deals. We’d rather give you a bigger check than a lot of unsold items.
